Unimportant Blog: Do Not View

Despite being a calm, cool, collected and every other c word kind of person, poker is poker. Online Poker can be the most frustrating thing in the world at times, other times it can be the most amazing thing in the universe. Obviously, when I bust out of tournaments, I\'m usually upset, however some times im affected more then other times.

When I don\'t play well, I generally am upset but not too much because I know the mistakes I make and look at each tournament like a learning experience. When I get outdrawn or unlucky, I know that there is nothing I can do to control the cards, so I can\'t feel too upset if I make correct plays. Sometimes, though, I just get extremely pissed and scream at the top of my lungs in my car or write some sort extended swear word in my blog. It\'s all to relieve some stress and tension.. I really am not affected for too long after my outbursts. (speaking of swearing, I think I have too much lately in my blog, so I vow to not swear for at least 1,000 words, deal? deal.) I\'ve played three tournaments so far at the Five Diamond for a total playing time of 3.5 hours.. In the 3k tourney, I built my stack up nicely the first hour to about 12k. Then I picked up the 45 of clubs, limped in, and called a late position raise along with the small blind. The flop came 346 with the 3 6 of clubs.. giving me a pair and a monster draw. We al checked and the turn came the Ten of clubs. Long story short the raiser had K9 of clubs and it was difficult to not double him up with my lower flush. After that I lost every hand I played and busted not too long after. Poker News

In the 5k tourney, I had a tough table draw but I still felt confident about it and I liked my position. After an hour my stack was still at around 10k. Four people limped in on my big blind, and I checked my option with Q5. The flop came Q53. Long story short, I got my entire 11k stack in on the flop against a weak player who had limped in for 100 with AA. The 3 hit right on the turn and I was left screaming in my car. Today was the $1500 tourney and it lasted about 20 minutes for me. The second hand I had 77 in the big blind and checked my option against two other players. The flop came AK7. Long story short, I lost half my chips a player\'s 68.. runner runner straight. That hand affected me and I busted a couple hands later on a check-raise gone wrong.

It\'s important that I continue to work on managing my tilt factor and play my best at all times. Even if it means posting more redonkulous blog entries.
