I was really excited when Joe asked me to blog on Poker Road. I'll be posting the same material to my website which is www.kwickfish.com but enough about that.

I've been playing a fair amount of online poker recently but no big poker tournaments in a while. I played Niagara Falls last year but honestly, that's a tough town to love. The Falls are obviously cool and this is actually a good time to see that part of Canada but can someone tell me why Niagara Falls is the honeymoon capital of the world? This place makes Vegas look classy. Last year when I played up here I forgot to wire money so I actually brought cash across the border. I declared it on my way into Canada and I guess not too many other players did the same thing because the guy at customs almost fell out of his little booth when I declared it.

Anyway, no Niagara for me this year. The next tournament I'm definitely playing won't be until January when I head down to Melbourne for the Aussie Millions.

No Bellagio you ask? I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this but I recently booked a week long vacation with my girlfriend for mid-December and after I'd set everything in place, I realized that our trip falls smack in the middle of the Five Diamond Classic. I really love tournaments at the Bellagio but I've already made my plans so I'll have to skip this one. No worries though. There are plenty of good looking tourneys in '08 and I'm planning to hit a bunch of them.

Anyway, it's the Sunday night before Thanksgiving and I hope you guys are doing well. This week I hope you eat lots of turkey and enjoy spending some good family time. That's definitely going to be my plan
