Venturing into the Alternative

After talking to multiple conventional doctors the consensus is that if I want the best shot at life, I should have my leg amputated. Chemo was a failure and radiation wasn't expected to succeed. Both can actually cause more cancer and I've done enough damage to my body already. I like my life but damn it I also like my leg. It's not particularly special, doesn't have anything cool like a 6th toe. But still I'd be delighted to keep it. Conventional doctors couldn't help me with this. It was time to pursue a different route.

So here I am in Oklahoma being treated at an alternative clinic called Camelot Cancer Care. By alternative I mean all-natural, non-toxic, uncovered by insurance, and under the radar of mainstream medicine. It's competition to "Big Pharmacy" and that's part of why the FDA has been trying to shut it down. One time the FDA came close to it. By luck a person of high authority got involved and the case was dropped.

I will be here for a few weeks trying some different methods. One is vitamin C and laetrile(cancer fighters) bonded with DMSO. The DMSO is absorbed by the cancer so it acts like a Trojan horse, carrying the vitamin C and laetrile inside. Another is whole body hyperthermia which boosts the immune system and raises the body temperature to where cancer can't survive. I'm also taking supplements and antioxidants and following a strict diet of 70% raw, organic foods and cutting down on sugar, meat, and processed junk. It's a total lifestyle change.

The staff members are very kind and seem to really believe that I have a good shot. I don't want to get my hopes too high but I truly believe this is the place to be.

Things should wrap up in early February and I'm hoping to be back in L.A. to catch the Poker Classic. Maybe I'll see you there...and I will actually have a bit of hair!

Special thanks to the Poker Road members who put up pictures/video of their hair cutting. You guys rock!
