No offense to Daniel, but Justin is by far the best analyst on the show. Most of Daniel's tips are far too anecdotal for my taste. Justin's are always focused, analytical, and cased in logic.

Daniel is more entertaining and lively, but he can be replaced.

He said in his blog he would only be doing Poker VT. I think here he will discuss strategy on hands already played by someone else.

In reality though, thats a one ortwo day a month gig for him (AS) seeing as they record a few shows over the course of an afternoon... I'll bet he still does it to some capacity. There was a bunch of hype aboutthe show before it came out... I don't see it going away so soon.

I could be completely wrong though....

The part that made me think he might leave is when he said he's had enough of giving away his tips on the game for free. Why give tips on AS for free when people will pay for it at Poker VT.

I hope he doesn't leave though cos the show is awesome.

i think being on AS should be a good marketing tool for Poker VT. i'm just not sure if he thinks that that particular window is closed or not.

fwiw, I also think that Daniel's blog is a realistic assessment of the 2009 landscape. Given the recession, the tournaments are not likely to be as good in the coming year. Foxwoods and Bellagio have demonstrated that so far.

I see no reason why Daniel would not continue the show, however, especially given that he said he plans to do less traveling.
