Default How about some lively debate?

One small criticism I have about AS is that Justin/Daniel typically seem to agree on each hand being analyzed. Many of the discussions go along the lines "Yes, I agree - now let me just add....". I'm sure there are some hands out there where Negrononmo have some fundamental differences and might spark some lively debate?

Many of the red forum posts are testament to the different approaches and thinking that many pros have.

I agree. When I listen to strategy shows, I'm usually not looking for them to tell me exactly how to play hands or situations. I like to hear what they think and try to incorporate some of their methods of thinking into my game. So obviously hearing two conflicting viewpoints instead of one provides more information for me to consider.

It is much more likely the case that this is already true but they don't want to get into an argument because the other one may not take a statement as well as hoped.

I felt the last few episodes that the two of them began feeling more comfortable with each other and weren't as worried about stepping on each others toes. I made a post on a segment with a hand Jimmy played, and another with Brandon Cantu. There were def some different opinions.
I'm not sure how well the two knew each other before the radio show, but all 8 episodes were taped on two days. That may explain why it seemingly took a little longer to want to blatantly disagree.

Yeah give them some time. I also think that Justin may have wanted the audience to get to know him better. We all have known Daniel forever, we all know he's great and the vast majority of us like him. What kind of response will Justin get, not being as much of a household name, if he comes on and disagrees with Daniel everytime.

Many of us will be ok with it, but the more casual listener will be likely to think, "Who's that ass hole arguing with Daniel all the time."

I think we've all gotten to Know Justin a bit better now and we can all agree that he is also a top level player and now that he's shown us that, he can engage in more spirited debates and the listeners will be more likely to listen to his points. People are more attracted to the honey than they are to the bees.
