Of course I have no idea about what happens behind the scenes at PokerRoad but it seems like All Strategy could still be a great show...even without the constant presence of Daniel and Justin.
I would think there's a TON of amazing tournament players who would be willing to lend a few hours of their time for some exposure. So run the show like a mini-series. Bring in a couple tourney specialists, or even have them call in, for an afternoon and then break it into 4 episode arcs (like they did with Daniel and Justin). So one month you get the internet kids like djk and ajkhoosier busting out knowledge about the sunday tourneys, then maybe bring in a couple who are making a live transition like issac baron and shawn deeb to talk about the differences in live vs. online and how they approach their opponents...you get the idea, and if those guys aren't willing and able, you turn to your Cardplayers, Deuces Cracked, Leggo Poker and Poker X Factor...people who want to advdertise their services, and get them to donate a few hours of brain space in exchange for mentioning their training sites on the air.
Just sayin, if they wanted to save All Strategy as a podcast, as a concept, then I'm sure there's plenty of talent to keep it interesting and informative.
I'm also guessing that this had to have been posted before.

Please not this...I can't stand it when there's a full show of someone on the phone. It just doesn't make for good radio IMO. One of the reasons I can't really get into the Poker Beat.
Love AS though and would love to hear it back on the air (pref with D&J but other players would be cool too). I'd also like a special episode featuring Barry.

Yeah, I still think it can be a great show even with other pros contributing. Hopefully they'll think of something.

While All Strategy did throw out some good ideas, I always saw it as something that I didn't think could last. When PRR used to have strategy discussions, it was a minor part of the podcast. This is why it didn't get boring too quickly.
Also when Bart Hanson hosted Cash Plays he talked about hypothetical hands as well as hands that listeners sent in. Therefore you never got the line, "The problem with these tournaments is that they're not deep stacked enough."
Obviously Justin was just answering a question, but I don't wanna hear what you should do with 6-7 s00ted on the button in your average game. I wanna hear about what I should be doing when a player has just lost a pot, is visibly steaming and 3 bet me in LP when I raised UTG with JJ. I wanna hear about interesting situations like that and not about pot odds and implied odds. Anyway this is why I am not too upset about the passing of All Strategy.

The only problem is without AS what all pokerroad has for strat is cashplays which no offense to mr smith lately even with pretty good guests just isnt as good as it used to be with bart and is more of a general poker talk show than a actually poker strategy imo.
PRR has 0 strat and is just 30 minutes of goofing around 8 minutes of interview 5 minute outro and like 20 minutes of commercials which is.......awesome? two jacks is just damn funny.poker beat is mostly about the poker industry. anyways i dont wanna get in a huge rant but imho pokeroad.com is kinda boring lately without much strategy shows considering the other content is pretty weak recently.
Theres the red pro forums but that doesnt help anybody except people who play 10k tourneys and even that is a ghost town lately.
I really liked PR when it first came out but lately it seems like all they are doing is throwing up random ivey or other "pro" material and the obligitory prr clips which lately have been......meh. except the B team but it looks like that will probally fade away too. bleh this is getting long just wanted to vent some opinions.

I have to agree with alebasterd for the most part, although I still like Cash Plays. The sad thing is that there isn't anywhere to get strategy podcasts. It seems like they had a real chance to corner the market and are letting it drop.
I can't understand why they don't switch to a format like Cash Plays. Of course, they could do something different. The 2+2 podcast has the Leggo Poker strategy minute. Why not do a backed/hosted strategy show?
Poker Stars, Full Tilt, Pocket Fives, Leggo Poker, or even PokerVT. Have a Poker Road host and then rotating guests from a poker site or a training site.
