John Kim does this mean you're switching to Stars this year for Supernova Elite?

For now, yeah. Unless I fall drastically behind pace I'll be grinding on Stars.

play more 8-game, and get better at all disciplines.
I know few people are still around, but for a quick update:

i stopped running bad i guess, or maybe i just never knew what a downswing really was, lol. I have moved up and am a reg at $10/20 and $15/30 (there is no 20/40 on stars). I've played some $30/60 and had a shot at $50/100. played over 116,000 hands, from .1/.2 - 50/100 with an overall profit of $31,901.50 not including any other games or tournies or bonuses (which is likely 6k+).

I didnt play too much 8-game or really get better at those games (though i have watched a good few lhe vids and i imagine im much better at that game now.

Here's to an even better 2012 imo

/barg.

Very nice!

That little dip right around 35,000 hands must have been frustrating. You went from a (then) bankroll high to the red. On the other hand, that graph provides a good visual aid for anyone going through a downswing: a good player can and will eventually right the ship, which you DEFINITELY did.

I am back! Sort of. My goal is to keep the game in perspective and not let it take over my life. Still date, work at my career etc, but also to earn 10k playing the pokers. I am somewhere on Merge and I choose my spots. Right now I am starting with 40 and grinding D or N sngs and some good stud hi low spots. It's all about good spots, Im not trying to be the best NLHE player out there, or rank on any leaderboard, I am simply trying to earn the 1ok. So far, so good.
