Different forms of tilt
Jared Tendler continues to blow me away.
I played poorly in a session this week, and chalked it up to frustration over a disgusting run of losing ginormous all-in pots (AA aipf 4x, sets vs draws, etc). I asked Jared for some advice about it and we identified the specific issue that was tilting me.
It wasn't just running bad, it was my sense of "injustice" that led me to poor decision making.
He also mentioned "entitlement" as a form of tilt, although I don't really have that one. JK does mention that he experiences it.
The show will be up on Tuesday, April 5th.

"Went to M, sat in a $1-$2nl game and bought in $200 and shoved every hand blind for 3 laps...cashed out $460"

Interesting concept. It's something I see in several regulars at my casino, and probably a little bit in myself too.

Obviously they caught on quickly that you were shoving eveyhand but did you also make it clear you weren't looking?

No, it was already negative ev for me what I was doing...why make it more so by telling them I was shoving blind...even though it really shouldn't matter after the 4th or 5th hand (when it's obvious I'm shoving every hand)

I definitely experience entitlement tilt. I scream at the screen "These tards can suck out...why can't I?" Probably I think I put a decent amount of time into the game studying and discussing and I know when someone makes a horribly play and gets ridiculously lucky, I get on entitlement tilt.
Thanks for nailing it on the head...

i think i get hit with entitlement tilt alot more live than online. its rough when you put in alot of time and work and some dunce calls your only open shove of the evening with 49o and gets a 939 flop and your aces are fish bait.
