Big Game audition suggestions
lolbrag: qualified for The Big Game audition pool lolfreerollaments
beat: I am uncreative/un-outgoing
Any thoughts on what angle you would take if you were a relatively boring guy (like myself)?
The deadline is in 10 days, so while I would like to post my video here and get feedback, I may not have time to do so.
All thoughts and suggestions welcome

Congrats! What are the guidelines for the video? Do you have to say why you would be good for the big game, or just basically introduce yourself? One suggestion I would make is to PM Stapes, not sure how much influence he has on who gets picked, but can't hurt.

Here is the pertinent details from the email (removed some of the stuff in the middle that detailed how to submit the video):
Quote:
Hello Joseph,
Thanks for contacting PokerStars!
Congratulations for qualifying to the audition round! We are sorry if you did not receive the congratulatory email.
You finished the tournament in a top place, which means you are ready for the next part of The PokerStars.net Big Game.
We want you to send in an audition movie to see if you have got what it takes to be a star on TV’s hottest new poker cash game, The PokerStars.net Big Game. Here is what you have to do:
- Make a video of yourself explaining why you should be chosen to go on the show to play with $100,000 of PokerStars’ money!
- The video must be a digital movie. Any video quality is acceptable for submission as long as the subjects can be seen and heard. Video cameras, web cameras, cell phones & still cameras with sound and video capabilities are all acceptable video sources.
- The video must be no more than 2 minutes in length.
- Please submit the video within 10 days of this email.
---------------------------------------
Once your video is submitted, a team represented by PokerStars and the studio will carefully go through each submitted movie and find the ones we feel are the best to go forward to the show. So be creative, use your imagination – get lost in the movie experience! After all, this could be worth a million.
If you are chosen, we will bring you to the shoot in Vegas (expenses paid) to take part in the show.
The full terms of the promotion are available on the following website:
Terms and Conditions - The PokerStars.net Big Game
Please let us know if you have any more questions.
So best of luck – and that’s a wrap!
Regards,
Svitlana L

Do it as a Big Game fanatic. I have a friend who recently submitted to some Olivia Munn contest thing, and submitted a documentary based on himself being an overly obsessive and literally religious Olivia fan, and it turned out really strong for not-too-much work imo.

PMing Stapes is a good idea as he'll know what kind of people they want. HOWEVER, the most important thing is simply tell them what you think you would bring to the show and why you would like to win the money. Honesty is under-rated imo.

Congrats!! Act like a big fan as stated above. Get some poker player posters and put them up in the background.

adding to this, you can say you're a big PH fan, so that he might actually be on the show if you do make it. that would instantly make the game softer

Whatever you do just be confident. You'd be surprised how many people would mumble their way through one of these.
