Ah, sorry about that... yikes, I apparently have had a few of these in each contest. Must be a function of these events in which 300 people cash, although that wouldn't explain my missing 17th place finishes by big-name players in the draft contest.

Weird... I just replied to Omenic's post and it went to post #1 in this thread (at least, it appears to be from my end what with the way the PR forums are acting tonight).

Talking 2010 WSOP Open Team Fantasy Competition

And its back. After 2 months of hell, I hope I can get this aligned. Your contest is simple and wide open. Its NOT a draft, the rules will NOT be changed and you should probably buy 6th a lapdance for managing this much info.

Pick 8 players! Any 8 players that will be at the series, even yourself. By the mid point, cut your team to 5 to finish the run through the main event.

Here's da' RULES:

Entry Fee: $25
Deadline: 28 May 2010 (close of employee's event)
Needed:
5 "A" Team members
3 "B" Team members

Deadline to set your final "A" team is the finish of the 10k Limit Hold 'Em Championship (Event 29, 15-16 June.) Once switched in, you CANNOT switch back. If you do not notify before the deadline your "A" Team holds regardless of the "B" team scores.

Points accumulation is STRAIGHT CASH this year. Yes I did it differently last year to change things up but it really did not change things much and it was a pain in 6th's butt.

*I AM NOT COUNTING THE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS!!* That is free money event for TV, not an open tournament -- deal with it.

You must post your picks and PM them to me (yes BOTH!!) by 12:01 am 29 May. That's the close of Day 1 of the employee's event.

Ship $25 on FT to RuntCake or Runt Cake (Daly City) of if you don't play online, email me and you can ship it PayPal.

Payouts: 1st: 50% 2nd: 30% 3rd: 20% 4th: kickback Last: kickback
I might expand this depending on the number of entries.
Tiebreaker is the player with the highest average cash-finishes on their whole team (A&B). After that, highest single cash by a player going down to the first unique. (Only cashes count as that is all we can really track.)

Your 2009 Winners:

1st: 6th Wilbury $350
2nd: Lon Van Patten $200
3rd: 99 Problems $125
4th: Devo $50
Last: Omenic $scorn and humiliation....wait... $25

Why not make it May 29 if you're not counting the 50k Player's Championship.

Had to fix that, meant the TOC. Also, just checked the schedule, the Employees event is a 2 day event now. So, lets say 12:01 am 29 May. Also, mid point is not mid point, but I like Event 29, 10k Limit Hold Em Championship.

I am in and crossing fingers for a respectable mid-table finish.

If I make my picks today, do I have until the deadline to change them?
