2010 WSOP (June 8) - $5,000 NL Holdem
Tuesday brings another tournament to the WSOP, with the $5,000 NL Holdem event starting at noon. Those who've been around PokerRoad for a while know that Brian Lemke, Justin Shronk's cousin, won this event last year for over $692,000.

Hopefully Brian can go back-to-back, but I know there's many people here who think of Shronk often, myself included.

Recent update from pokernews-
"After a recent table break, Team PokerStars Pro Barry Greenstein has been relocated to the table of his son Joe Sebok.
After Sebok folded preflop he turned to Greenstein and commented, "You see? This is how your son players. Disciplined. Focussed."
Sebok has a slight chip lead over his dad, with Greenstein on 14,400 and Sebok at 17,800."

Please let Joe get it in good vs. Barry, get sucked out on and then get a lecture.

I like the description of Table 46 in the updates:
1. Unknown
2. Shannon Elizabeth
3. Dan Heimiller
4. (empty)
5. Chris Ferguson
6. JJ Liu
7. David Williams
8. Brandon Adams
9. Ashton Griffin
10. Alex Bolotin

There is a registration card in front of the vacant Seat 4, and it belongs to none other than Phil Hellmuth. Whoever the poor gentleman is in the one seat, he must be feeling pretty miserable to have joined this group of late registrants.

Tough overall table, sure, but if you're gonna pick one person among that group to have on your right, I'd say he got the right one.

Thanks. I gather that goes up at the end of registration or something like that because I swear I didn't see it earlier.

Correct, it's usually online about 4 hours after the start of the tournament.

After which several tables would have broken. Or in the case of a 1k event, half the tables have broken. Useful.

Did we see this one?
Quote:
Bringing Lemke Back
We mistakenly reported that defending champion Brian Lemke was out a little while ago, but that was just flat-out wrong. Lemke's table was, for some reason, broken back into the yellow section of the Pavillion, the only table in that area and a table completely detached from the rest of our field. We're not sure what the logic was for that move, but we've found our guy seated with Vitaly Lunkin and Annette Obrestad and a chip stack of 38,000.
Update: From what we hear, that table was situated directly under an air conditioning vent, and a few of the players were complaining about being cold. The staff accommodated them by relocating them across the room to the warm section.
Apologies to Lemke's friends and fans!
