2011 World Series of Poker Discussion Thread
I didn't see one posted, so I figured I start one now that the $25K heads-up championship is underway (and Andrew Robl and Ayaz Mahmood have already advanced).
This is the place where you can grouse about how your fantasy teams are doing. Write in your support for Barry Greenstein and Jimmy Fricke and Daragh999. Debate the proper spelling of Vladimir Shchemelev.
Who will be the most oft-named player as the "best without a bracelet?" Who will bring up this subject more frequently between G-Wise and MissClick? Discuss.
Predict Wicked Chops' "Year of the..." nickname for '11. Guess Erik Seidel's total WSOP winnings, divide it by your age and see if you still need two commas. Choose sides on hot-button issues like the Ladies' Only tournament and the Team Full Tilt players and ElkY's hair color. With no PRR or Poker Beat this year, we need a field on which to draw battle lines.
Oh yes, the games have begun.
