Ok, I have to put Daniel Negreanu on blast here. He writes in his blog about how hungry and ready for the ME that he is and how he is so much better and wiser than in previous years and then he stacks off before the end of the 100-200 level with pocket 3s on a 10-7-10 board (opp had QQ)? C'mon, that's horrible. I know he said he was sick, but I think it would make more sense to back off and let things come to you and maybe try to slip into Day 2b on Wednesday when he might be feeling better.

I was pretty surprised to read he was out so quickly. Didn't read how the hand played out, other than your post.

Being sick can have a helluvan impact on you. Annie Duke also was sick and eliminated just moments ago.

How bout Lisandro? He's unstoppable. I've got him in my A team.

Is that correct......that T Dwan showed up for about one hour....four hours after the start.....and busted?

Oh, BTW, I heard that Eric Cloutier's results were a mistake......something like they are actually 1/1000th of the reported total on day one......is that rumour true? It was reported during the league's ME game today....

It was Tom Dwan Sr....his father. The real Durrrr plays today.

Any chance they cap registration for Day 1d?

Last year says they ran about 2700. Registration last night was supposed to be at 2400 already.

I'm not sure if it will be 2,700 but they will definitely have to cap it at some point, based solely on the physical limitations of the room.

looks like they will be just over 6k (3,686 for the first three days)
