WSOP Event #57: $10K NL Holdem World Championship (Main Event) **Phil Ivey Nov. 9!!!!**
It's the biggest poker tournament of the world, 12 days of exciting action starts at 12pm today with the first of four day 1's needed to get all the entries who want to pay 10 dimes to play some poker.
This will hopefully be quite the rail thread, and good luck to everyone playing, especially those who are part of the PokerRoad family.

kind of stupid, I mean 5 levels at least.... they afraid of hitting the money before day 3 I guess ( which would be a nightmare as the field would still be split)

The structure sheet at WSOP.com says 5 levels per day.
With deeper stacks than last year they should be looking at the end of Day 4 before they hit the money.

That's true, but they can change the number of levels whenever they choose. Either attendance is lower than expected, or they're going to use the extra day they scheduled this year to their benefit.
John Phan first notable elimination.

The WSOP (pokernews) updates said the opening announcements said 4 levels.
Plus they are on top of the Tony G. updates. 60k plus after 1 level.
