how does that change the fact that farve is getting so old and injured, harvin is all over the place, rice is coming off a major injury, and the team knows this season is a total wash? head coach seems like the least of there concerns. they need a quarter back and 2 wide outs they can rely on. that would fix a whole lot. maybe a good line too if if wanna build a wish list.

So are you saying Harvin and Rice are not dependable? Rice is doing just fine right now, no pain or soreness at the moment. Yeah, Harvin's issues with the ankle and migraines are a real pain but he's still coming out every sunday and is having a productive year so far.

Childress needed to go simply because of the fact that he lost his team and whatever amount of respect the players had for him. You can't have that in the locker room. To be honest, this move should've happened 2 weeks ago.

Frazier has earned a lot more respect throughout the whole locker room and should do a much better job going forward.

rice is now healthy. what im saying is they were screwed the second he went down. they could have used another WR before he went down. the second he went down they were toast.

I know childress needs to go, what i am saying is the vikings have some LONG term problems that brett farves magic covered up last year. and they did next to nothing in the draft/ FA to fix that. even with a healthy sidney rice and at the beginning of the season when people believed in Chilly i had a hard time believing they would do as well as last year.

they traded down the pick that the lions used to get best. drafted a corner, drafted a crap running back when they already had AP that THEY TRADED UP FOR, ended up passing on golden tate, jordan shipley and Benn ( all who could have made the vikings passing attack awesome at full strength.

they had a sh*tty sh*tty draft, couldnt get along with moss and didnt get vincent jackson at any point. they were living off of 2 players making everything work, the second rice and farve went down hill the team tanked. a good team should be built to have depth.

ok maybe im harsh on toby and maybe he is a big time player in the waiting, but the fact they did nothing to address what i feel was a huge need, and didnt take a QB to have ready for when farve decides he is too old ( Joe Webb in the 5th round does not count) makes me annoyed with this front office. sure you can't fix all your problems in one draft, but you didnt even try to fill all the wholes. yah chris cook isnt a bad corner imo, but i just feel like they had no plan in the draft. ok you take cook, take toby, then you start drafting DB and guards? take a flyer on the mid rounds on a player that can be a play maker. dont stock up on D when your d is great all ready.

Yeah idk we'll see what happens. They did try to get vjax, but SD's GM wouldn't budge with what the vikes were offering which was at least a 2nd round pick (terrible decision on AJ Smith's part to not take that). Gerhart doesn't look THAT bad either. His pass-catching looks to be improving also as the season goes along.

you have probably the best all around back in the league thou! i dont mind picking a back up in like the 4th round or so, but the second when you have AP,.....
