Hmmm, I'm glad you bumped the thread. This is actually one of the more well-written (and better-looking) poker blogs I've seen, although I think it might favor a more casual audience rather than those who frequent poker forums. But that's a good thing.
A quick tip: you may want to provide an excerpt of your blog within the forum, then add a link to the remainder of your latest entry. The PokerRoad forums get hit by spammers so often that some of us are antsy about clicking through to another site -- especially when the link comes from a new member.
Good stuff, overall. You don't load up any of your entries with jargon, which will help ease new fans to poker. You bring up topics interesting enough to draw the attention of serious fans, but not so esoteric that you risk losing casual ones. The closest I can offer to a criticism is that you rarely go out on a limb with any of your opinions, so your blog might not necessarily stand out among the many other poker blogs. But I don't mind that either -- it prevents interested readers from putting you out on a "lunatic fringe," further drawing in fans.
Welcome to the forums, Jersey.
