BTW The lesson in game numero uno is the following:
There is no need to inform the listener of the subject twice when we should be using the time to inform them of the contrast.
The point is not the contrast. The point is being concise. And I am not really sure what that is about. It seems rather snooty to me. Man, when I am stoned, I like to talk. You oughta see my wife's eyes roll eight minutes after that first hit. Seriously, dewd It's like that. And because she is looking at someone else for help, I know there gotsta be more in the room besides me, you know, so that means I gotta tell more of the story. I mean, that is copasetic.
So there is no need to inform the listener twice when other information is available. You have to ask yourself: Is it copasetic?
