A man lived by the side of the road and sold hot dogs. He sold very good hot dogs. He put up signs on the highway & ads in the newspaper telling how good they were. On the side of the road & cried: “Buy a hot dog, mister?” And people bought. He increased his pruduct orders. He bought a bigger stove to take care of his trade. Finally his son returns from college to help.
But then something happened. His son said, “Father, have you been listening to the radio and watching TV? There is a big depression. The foreign situation is terrible. The domestic situation is worse.” The father thought, “Well, my son’s been to college, he listens to the radio and watches TV and he ought to know.” So the father cut down on his product orders, took down his signs, canceled his ads and no longer bothered to stand out on the highway to sell his hot dogs. His hot dog sales fell almost overnight. “You’re right, son,” the father said, “We certainly are in a great depression.”

Dear Mr. Greenstein:
I am a student at the University of Mississippi, and huge fan of you and poker. I think you are one of the greatest WSOP competitors in the game today, and you have the three bracelets to prove it! You are a true gentleman and a great philanthropist as well. I would be so very grateful if, when you have a moment, you would not mind sending me a signed photo. Thanks and congratulations on your induction into the Poker Hall of Fame!
I’m an PhD student in Michigan State University’s Economics Department. (Yes, I’m also a poker fan and was starting to make some profit just before black Friday. I’m also a fan of you personally, and that’s why yours is one of the handful of books I’ve read so far.)
Could you please shoot me an email (or tell me how can I contact you) so I can ask you a question about your book? I need a reference of something you mentioned, which I want to quote in a Game Theory article.
Don't you think in the end everybody is going to realize they were invited to a game and when it came time to cash out the hosts had ran off with the money? I mean, in the end isn't that what Lederer, Ferguson and Ivy have done? I think they need to give back the procedes required to cover the players buy ins. Isn't it a strongest rule of honor for the house to honor those chips?
Would love it if you could come to our event. http://BearPokerCharities.intuitwebsites.com/
Or send a book?
Know that you are very busy but hope that you can make room for us. Or mention it to a friend or two
Can't belive you make all that playing gee.
