Yes, but his punishment usually fits the crime (although there are, amongst non-idealistic morons, fouls which we agree should be committed for tactical reasons - Luis Suarez in the World Cup vs. Ghana when he blocked a certain winning goal, was sent off, but gave his keeper the chance to save the resulting penalty and get them through to the next round). However, the idea that you can run an over-sized team for a massive advantage is just crazy (in soccer, we'd just add extra time on at the end for something like that). But hey, whilst it's not a real sport, at least you can enjoy it

That is the prep.
The answer to your Q is yes. The reason is fashion goes in 20 year cycles. Once you get a grip on this, you can see the future.
It will be out of fashion though once you put a gun to your head. I agree the learning curve is a hard one.
