I think this is very wrong.
Make it even fractionally more reasonable though, and shove just remotely logical spots. Likewise, don't leave out the SUPER key point about players not leaving being part of the equation.

Players will either leave when you bust them or they get too big a stack (casino loses), or everyone gets ultra nitty (casino loses). Casino rake goes down no matter what.

Yes, but I could quit you every time I double and resit. It's true that taking the +EV spot many times will usually bust me, but if I continually lock profit I'm printing money. I'm also pretty sure that on your part, it would basically be Martingale (ie you'll win a small amount like always and then, on one horrible dark night, get ****ed for a million straight).

It's because they want people to play again and again, not bust their rolls. It's all about what is best for the site.

The whole point I'm making is exactly that, though. The casino doesn't want players quitting. And assuming you don't, someone ends up with all the money faster, and it's probably the person with the mega-stack.

^ Very applicable to what I'm saying.

In poker you are the casino. So from a purely economic standpoint if you have an advantage and the roll you want everyone to be rolled as deep as possible. In the real world that might tough to play 500,000bbs deep.
