Default Calling all small turny experts

I have a few questions..

How do you play a small 40-50 player turny, where most players are average. Most are only there to have fun, a superbowl type hold um turny. where the buy in is about 50$ ?
And the final table doesnt all cash, maybe a top 6 payout.
Do you go in this Balls out ?
Describe how you play this style of turny

Play tight early, when the blinds are low a lot of people will play any and all hands. When people start to bust and the blinds get bigger, this is when you should start to get a little bit more aggressive.

Your conditions "most are only there only to have fun" and "$50 buy-in" do not jibe with "most players are average." The first two conditions will likely mean most players are well below average. From what I've seen in my admittedly limited B&M experience, those types of tourneys are rich with passive, calling types. Play accordingly.

This. I used to play one every month...it plays like a multi-table sit-n-go to me. People call and fold incorrectly

I never write back to any of you .after i make post. but since you all helped me out so much i wanted to tell you how my nite went.

I was totally card dead in the turny. my best hand was a pair of 5's.
i went out early ,but i ended up cleaning house in dealers choice .i won over 200$.
i spent 75$ trying to win 2 flat screen tvs. but no luck. of course 1 guy won both tvs
i did win a gift card good for a pizza place 45 miles away from me. Lol
All in all i wasnt dizzy .i felt great and had energy. so id say i had a great time

I would comment on this, or laugh at it, but Romanian Shark would send an angry PM that I'm picking on him.
