Default The Inbetweeners

I've been catching up on this show (well...you know the 18 eps and then I'll watch the movie)

anybody from here watch it? UK blokes? take a break from getting all the gash and watch it. Or not. It's whatevah innnit bruv. Clunge. Bunk off from work and watch. I've run out of fun British slang.

It's a pretty good show. The main bloke is pretty s*** but the other 3 are quite funny.

And if anybody has been watching The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret (and you should...David Cross, Will Arnett, Jon Hamm) the dude who plays Dave is in The Inbetweeners. And the 2 blokes who co-created The Inbetweeners wrote for Flight of the Conchords...another pretty good show.

Also don't get mad at me for just watching this show. I don't watch much British stuff besides the Gervais stuff. Because unless it's super popular I can't find it anywhere online.

Cheers mates.

In the UK, this show is VERY old news. Have seen, it was kinda funny the first time. Very overrated.

First 2 seasons was some of the best TV on at the time, 3rd it started to get stale, movie was a good way to end it but i have no desire to see it any more.

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret - thanks for cluing me in on that. The Jon Hamm bit is pretty good.

I am curious about y'all's viewpoint on Downton Abbey, which of course my English settings would prefer to correct it to Downtown Abbey.

We are up to episode 5 of the second season on PBS in the States. They actually ran episode 5 as a first run against the Super Bowl.

I downloaded the whole thing for my wife and she is really into it (she has made our household a Doc Martin household) but the word is it gets quite weird and incredibly hard to believe once the pandemic gets into full swing.

What is the reaction to it over there now that Shirley MacLaine has been signed on for a third season?

Is it the Mad Men of the NE Atlantic?

It's super popular in the UK and I have never watched it (never will, sounds s***).
