The foundation was the TASER foundation for fallen officers, and the event was called Hold-em for heros. When I first heard the charity name I made some jokes about tasers... is that first prize?... etc. Well once I actually got to Arizona I realized that we all actually did get free tasers simply for playing in the tourney! Sweeeeet.
Phil jabbered on the mic, calling the action and poking fun at some while telling some stories about people, apparently recalling a funny incident regarding me and Clonie from the night before. Well, Clonie was at my table and amidst the joking she ended up making a sick prop bet with Cantu... The first person to bust out of the tournament would have to get tazed!!! Oh my god this was definitely a freeroll for me, either way I was going to see one of my friends get freakin shocked for 5 seconds!
Clonie was on the ropes most of the tournament, as Brandon decided to play aggressive during the rebuy period and built up an impressive stack that had Clonie very nervous. However, in the end, Clonie somehow managed to outlast Cantu, meaning sometime in December we will all be watching and filming Brandon screaming in glorious, glorious, pain.
Sebok we need this for pokerroad! I like Cantu as a player but anytime we can see someone get tazed on camera is a good thing.
