Television Road
I love television. I think we need a tv thread.
Pretty much all I'm doing on break is watching television. That's pretty much all I do during school too...
Anyway, these are the shows I'm currently watching:
Mad Men
I'm almost at the end of Season 4/ I'm pretty confident in saying that Mad Men is the best show on television. Jon Hamm as Don Draper is a brilliantly acted role. He's finally going to get paid his due come awards season, since Cranston won't qualify this year. It's a shame not to mention every actor on this show, but I can just say they're all excellent. The female characters are specifically impressive, outside of January Jones, but she is some delicious 1950's eye candy. I can't say enough about this show, and I don't throw around the word BEST lightly. Mad Men is extremely unique in how it is written, shot, and directed. Every episode seems like an hour length, Oscar award winning film.
The League
I'm just finishing up the finale of this season and this is another great comedy from FX. The expectations I had were so low when this show came out, but this is now top-top as far as current comedies. Other than Community, this is the show I look forward to most on Thursday nights. Some episodes remind me of Seinfeld, but the jokes and characters on this show are so original. This show has passed It's Always Sunny in my book. You don't even need to like football to enjoy it.
The Office
I just finished catching up to the current season. I want to be watching live for the end of Michael's reign at Dunder-Mifflin. That will be a truly sad day. Michael has given us the most hilarious combination of writing and improvisation over the past 7 seasons. I think the show will survive, but it's going to miss Carell a lot. A lot of people have criticized the recent seasons. And sure, they're inferior to seasons 1-4, but this is still a solid half-hour of comedy. I love that Erin's character is really coming alive.
This post could get longer but at present I'm also rewatching Arrested Development, a show that is in the top-tier of all time comedies for sure.
And I'm also catching up with Modern Family, one of the consistently great comedies.
I'm caught up with all the other shows I watch which include obviously Community. I can't wait for the next season of Breaking Bad. Recently finished up Dexter and of course will be along for the ride wherever he takes us next. I'm eagerly preparing for Entourage's conclusion and I'm hoping Weeds has a similar fate.
I think I mentioned almost all my shows. Except for the reality shows. So many!
And Pardon the Interruption could be my favorite show. They deliver day-in day-out. I don't think there's a better pair on tv.
So, what's everyone watching? I love to discuss tv

I haven't ever watched Weeds or Mad Men, though the latter I'm eventually going to motor through I imagine. Don't watch Breaking Bad either, may give it a shot (from the beginning of course).
I also am a big "The League" fan. I agree that (aside from the Lethal Weapon 5 episode of It's Always Sunny) The League has become a better show (or that IAS has gone downhill enough anyway).
I watch (or have watched in the case of Arrested Development) the other shows you mention and enjoy them all. Also add 30 Rock. Outsourced pleasantly surprised me, but only because I wasn't expecting better than 2/10 and it was more like a 3 or 4 for me. I also like psych, though not as much as most of the others.
Just started watching Boardwalk Empire episodes, pretty decent so far. I also liked Treme (and am looking forward to season 2). Obviously not as good as The Wire, but David Simon's pretty awesome in my book.
Looking forward to Shameless (showtime in Jan.), but don't know what I'm expecting.
I also watch Burn Notice, House, Top Chef (and enjoy them least to most in that order).

Breaking Bad season 1 is the stone cold nuts. I'm only a couple of episodes into season 2.

Breaking Bad is awesome. Definitely a show I recommed. AMC is on fire. I can't wait to see where they go from here. They've written the characters into pretty deep crap...
Always Sunny still has moments, but up until season 4, the 'big 3' wrote every episode and now not so much. The League is fresh and very rewatchable.
I mean, I guess I'd recommend Weeds, but after I'd recommend 25-30 other shows. It has been so disappointing for the last couple seasons, but the first few were awesome. If you like Kevin Nealon, you'll get at least one great moment per episode.

I'm still a huge fan of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and always will be. I have all the seasons and pretty much watch them religiously.
I was also a huge fan of Family Guy, but I think season 4 and on the show just went down the tank. The jokes and parodies weren't funny to me anymore and it just seemed McFarlane was trying too hard. Season 1-3 are the stone cold nuts though.
Just recently discovered the brilliance and hilarity of Two and a Half Men. I think a couple years back it got an award for best comedy on TV and rightly so. Overall though, my most watched program by far is SportsCenter, followed by Around The Horn. Sad but true

^^^For sure, awesome show. Wife unit also enjoys with me.
HBO's Deadwood is a good watch (series cancelled but ran 3 seasons). Just the change in english usage (not mention the fbomb was dropped 46-49 times in the first episode) from standard television is awesome. The wide cast of characters is well cast and directed. Even if you don't like a western theme, give it a try, I think the quirkiness will get you coming back.

Pretty much addicted to The Office also and all the seasons, even if the latest ones haven't been as good as the beginning ones.

I personally think this show has gone on for about X seasons too long, where X is the number of seasons-1. It started off decently funny, but every episode is like, "Charlie is a lecherous/lascivious dbag. Jake is stupid and lazy. Alan is weird, poor, and divorced." We get it.
Sort of related to this topic, here's a question for everyone: favorite show you think that got cancelled sooner than it should've?
For me it'd be Huff (with Hank Azaria and Oliver Platt) or HBO's John from Cincinnati.

I really think X should of been the draft of the pilot.
