Nice show as usual guys. The 2nd song at ~16min mark - who was it? Very cool!

I realize Huff doesn't like to look/read the forums but he mentioned briefly that he avoids some of the poker books because of the writing and I couldn't help but think he was referring to Matusow's latest book, Check Raising The Devil. I was excited to give this a read, knowing that he had help on the writing end, but the writing was so terribad that I shut it down about 50-60 pages in.

Is Positively 5th Street that much better a read?

I think the guys are missing something: games are solved all the time. The problem is Khan thinks the game is like a video game: there's a method that will always work. Problem with this is, it's like playing Tetris: no matter how hard you want to solve it, you can't. you can get damn close, but you never will. So to say poker will be solved is rediculious.

The only thing that will happen we already have a preview: we'll get Tourney fags.

And it's not me being disrespectful or anything like that: it's what people call the guys who take something beyond what it should be. Ask anybody to tell you about the SSBM Tourney fags. They'll tell you the same thing: "we don't play with them, because they ruin the game."

All that ends up happening when you flood a game with professionals is the professionals have to go up against other professions, and then the game becomes straight professionals for the titles, while everybody else doesn't give two ****s about their titles and hard work.

Basically, if Khan says the game is solvable, then it's bad for the game because you'll fill in the gap with people who'll have solved it. Has that happened yet? Well, other then Ivey, who's ****ing ivey, who do you know that can remain on that pedestal forever? Nobody. They all struggle to stay there because frankly, you can't solve people, and that's what no limit poker is: people. Khan's never gonna be able to solve everybody, so his statement is crap.
