Hear, hear... thanks to John for a great run on the show. I said it when he started on TPB, so I'll say it here -- he truly elevated this show.

Thankfully, Caldwell didn't announce he was leaving the show until after voting closed in the Bluff Readers' Choice Awards. Phew!

Now we just have to wait until they announce the winners on January 28th. If we lose the Best Poker Podcast award to ESPN's Poker Edge, then I'm going to play in their promised freeroll, win it, and declare our podcast to be superior as a result. (Don't try to look for any logic there ...)

You will surely be missed John, thanks for all you did making such a great show. I hope this doesn't have anything to do with me busting you out of the Shronk Memorial Tourney? (sorry about that)

GL to Sir Caldwell in in the future. You were a great addition to the show. I hope to see some curtain calls in the not so distant future.

Didn't know much about John before the show, but was very impressed from the beginning of his joining the Poker Beat. Very appreciative of the time, insights, humor, music, etc. that he gave us over the past year.

Good luck with your future endeavors.

A quick note to say thank you to all the listeners. I really did have a great time doing the show, but alas....life jumped up and got in the way.

I do believe the Huffmeister to be destined for greatness, and I cannot think of one instance in the time we did the show that I was even mildly annoyed with him. he's great to work with.

I probably had like 5 or 6 people come up to me this past week when I was down at PCA (hint) and it surprised me and warmed the cockles of my cockles that people felt as strongly about the show as they did.

Best of luck to Dan, Gary, BJ and Scott. PokerBeat FTW!!

J
