Default THE SINGLE GREATEST CONTEST OF ALL-TIME!!! FREE STUFF TO BE WON!!!

Hey folks,

On this week’s episode of THE AWARD WINNING POKER BEAT, we’re going to be discussing our picks for the wager we made on the March 18th show regarding predictions for the 20 elected spots in the Tournament of Champions. The terms were pretty simple: produce 20 names and whoever is predicts the most 2010 tournament of Champions electees wins the wager.

Before I get to who we each picked, I want to let you know we’re holding a little contest in this thread. We want to see who you guys would have picked. To that end, we’re asking you to post your picks here by April 30th. If you get all twenty electees correct, you’ll win a PokerRoad t-shirt and maybe a little something else. We’re still working out that part, but will post here when we do. Regardless, you’ll get something for nothing and it’ll be a fun exercise to watch unfold. Post your picks here (one submission each) and let the debate commence.

I’ll be posting Stapes’ picks in a couple of hours, but in the meantime, here’s who the rest of us picked:

I think the 20 will be:

Phil Hellmuth
Joe Hachem
Howard Lederer
Erik Seidel
Peter Eastgate
T.J. Cloutier
Chris Moneymaker
Antonio Esfandiari
Barry Greenstein
Jennifer Harman
Daniel Negreanu
Allen Cunningham
Johnny Chan
Scotty Nguyen
Phil Ivey
Chris Ferguson
John Juanda
Doyle Brunson
Dan Harrington
Greg Raymer

I also predict, without the balls to actually include him on my list, that Jamie Gold will be the wildcard that makes it that almost no one will include on their list.

although i think someone like Annette Oberstad, or Jason Mercier will make it in just based on their PokerStars affiliation and online following, and someone like Billy Baxter will be left out just because alot of the people voting have no idea who he is, although i did actually vote for Billy when i did my picks online

Update on the prize situation: If someone gets 20/20, they'll get $50 transfered to their poker account. If multiple folks get 20/20, the tiebreaker will be whoever posts first.
