If nothing else, the guy has multitasking skills, if he can make plans to play LAPT Peru, while at the same time committing a terrible crime.

Damn racial-profilng bastages. They immediately pick an African-American player for a poker crime story.

Seriously, though... I can't believe it has been five years since the Holloway disappearance. It seems like just yesterday I saw reports on that case on CNN. I remember it struck me because they put the photo on screen and, at first glance, I thought it was one of our former soccer players.

Topic Ideas:
Paz Bansi -- English Wunderkind: Fact or Fiction

Welman's 'Tweets of the Day' best of each week. (Look for it on Bluff, sure to generate convo)

Why PokerNews complained that the TPT owner @coolwhipflea was 'tweeting too much and hurting their updates.' (Photos, chips counts, elimination updates, etc. from the rail in real time.)

On the back of that: PokerStars jamming TPT (amittedly non-patentable/protectable) with its own Twitter Poker Tour.

Pokernews and the Tech SNAFU of doom...can they fix it? ...will it matter?

Yes I realise these may ruffle feathers, but that is why we have TPB. Even if it gets you on the bad side of @asianspa

I'd think Praz had moved beyond wunderkind status long ago.

The PokerNews problems appear to be much less than over the weekend after getting the Lithuanians to work harder.

You know that Twitter is going to be a real problem, especially if it's coming from someone with a media pass, which I think CoolWhipFlea has.

He does and IMO was well within his rights to get the best content possible to his media stream -- which is all on Twitter.

OK, PNs new page format is universally hated and the updates are slow/getting bagged on by about anyone who cares to voice it. I sat with them, I know they are trying their best, I know Matt Parvis is frustrated by this...but I still want to get their take on how it can effect them since they are the official WSOP providers.

Praz, at minimum, has the worst haircut in poker. Even LVP can't argue with me on that.

ALSO:
Discuss the 'banishment' or forced travel of key PokerStars players to Lima in the MIDDLE OF THE WSOP! Only one month's notice of the tour, much less attendance, is that fair for a sponsor to demand this?

Everyone I talked to about this was happy to have the opportunity, but really confused as to why PS was stacking this right as the WSOP was really getting going. Maridu in particular found this unfair and tried to wiggle out to no avail.

Also -- the 1 level delay mandate to anyone late registering. Mean in the 50k, especially considering that the cage was the issue for about a dozen players.

Today's episode is up:

The Poker Beat - B.J. Nemeth, Dan Michalski, and Jessica Welman - PokerRoad

That late registration issue will most likely apply only at the high buy-in events besides the main event.

It seems the LAPT situation was done more for branding their Latin American market, and this was a good spot for them. Imagine the uproar if they did this with an EPT event.

Boom.

Note: credit Matt Waldron for the retweet of the above.
