I also remember someone (either Seth Palanski or Ty Stewart or Nolan Dalla) saying the Seniors Event would be harder for non-qualified people to play because (and I will probably get the terminolgy wrong) it would more likely that Harahs could show that Seniors were a class that was at a competitive disadvantage and, therefore, the Seniors Event was justified in the same manner as, say, women's Tennis.

I'm old enough to remember arguments about ladies only events going back to the passing of Title IX. Thirty plus years and we are still arguing.

For myself I would like to play in the ladies event, but only because I am old enough that I am tired of the verbal pissing contests common among the younger members of my gender. I don't have any political beef with a womens only event.
