The second Poker Beat of the week should appear on Itunes sometime Thursday afternoon. Some possible topics:

More fallout over the ladies event, as Daniel Negreanu and Annie Duke go at it yet again.
The WSOP TOC field is set, who got snubbed and who's the biggest surprise?

Since we're still talking about the ladies event, which BTW I strongly support, one possible solution might be an intramural event with a women's and a men's division. Prize money for each division would be based on entries for that division. The winner of each division would win a bracelet. If you need an overall winner, division winners could go heads-up for a plack . . . or better yet a beaded bag.

The TOC lineup reminds me of a Wallflowers lyric...

Hmmm, the TOC lineup reminds me of the lyrics to Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone." Not that the words have anything to do with poker, it's just that the song was really popular in 2005 thanks to a previous made-for-TV competition.
