Was this the Poker Beat or the Tiger Beat? I half expected someone to shout: "Hey, Tatjana! Look at me, I can balance on this fence post!" Even worse, whenever she tried to speak someone would jump in to show how clever they could be. Jeepers!

Guilty.

This show had a very different, relaxed feel from the beginning -- which y'all didn't get to hear because of a recording error. Tatjana didn't show up until halfway through the first segment, which was about half an hour into the show. (When we re-recorded the beginning, we only had a few minutes so we rushed it and skipped all the newsbriefs.)

The point is that this show was running off the rails before Tatjana even showed up. She just added fuel to that fire.

Going forward, Huff is going to be MIA for several weeks as he gets married, goes on his honeymoon, and has six kids. We're still figuring out how the show will proceed in his absence, but we'll definitely come up with something.

Let me say this, I and many others have invested a lot of time in listening to this show and watching it grow and mature. I find it unconscionable that all of this loyalty and steadfastness would be thrown away on a whim like this.

The Poker Beat is Scott Huff; it's just a random podcast otherwise. I'm not saying that I hate the guest hosts but I don't like the fact that I've become invested in something that is so easily thrown away.

If you patronise me as a listener and indulge yourselves at my expense again count me out as a regular Itunes downloader.

This was a terrible episode and really you should have pulled it rather than broadcast it.

I'm a great fan from South Africa and would never miss a Thursday's show but please, let's get back to adult poker radio...you're so good at it.
