I still don't fully understand the Kentucky domain-seizure process. So if a Kentucky resident attempts to visit PokerStars site, is it completely blocked (similar to a company blocking a website from its employees)? The idea of seizing a domain is a bit of a foreign concept to me.

Also, when the poker client makes its connection, it doesn't go to the domain, correct? It probably connects to some IP address that we never see. So it seems like a player in Louisville could scoot across the border into Indiana, download the software, then come home to play at his/her leisure.

KY's trying to take the domain names, I assume you can still play in KY at those sites.

BTW Spartan, the storyboard says Thursday 9/26, so I assume it's still going to be Sunday night?

Well one way or another half that date is wrong. (Also, storyboard?)

As per the Kentucky domain seizure, I'm still trying to figure out how they'd be able to enforce this within state lines. Tell the ISPs in the state that their DNS servers have to redirect to a morality police site? OK, I'll just use Google's servers instead. Force Pokerstars/FTP to filter by IP? Not likely. Seems impossible to enforce, but maybe there is a day I slept through my networking class and I missed how to do it where it would work 100% of the time.

Insider reference, deals with what topics are discussed.

I assume there would be some sort of software that can block IP addresses/change them to something different.

There is, but implementing that across an entire state and having it be bulletproof is pretty hard. Especially when its not like you can fine someone for finding a way around the seized version of the domain (I think, unless we became China overnight.)

So is the show up yet? Has it been recorded yet? Can I get a birthday shout out? I mean I've now sent two boring emails in. (I say boring as in neither did I attack Huff.)
