Don't know about that, but something that may make the news briefs is Brotha D winning another ANZPT Main Event:

I assume they won their award for the most infrequent podcast. Listen to the next show and Scott will mention award winning three or more times. Sure is insulting to other podcasts when a weekly podcast wins an award while maybe doing two shows a month.

Almost as infrequent as Jess & BJ on WPT.com (I am only posting here because they might see it and get me a link to the new episode which is late!).

Didn't want to waste my time originally, but since you requested it...

Where does it say they are an award winning WEEKLY podcast? If that was a requirement for the award, then I stand corrected...but if memory serves me correctly, it was simply for "best poker podcast"

However, I stand behind the fact that I enjoy the Poker Beat whenever it is released, and will not make any negative rush to judgement on a FREE podcast when a diverse panel of experts are not able to get their schedules to mesh all 52 weeks of the year.

And what TRUTH are you referring to? You started your comment with an assumption-based insult. You then go on to throw down a mild insult about Scott taking pride (mixed with some humor) in what they have put together. And then you make an another assumption about this being insulting to other podcasts that were considered for said award; unless you are part of one of those other podcasts, this statement is opinion and likely nowhere near the TRUTH.

I wouldn't knock on them at all, sometimes schedules just conflict and I believe the idea of "quality not quantity" applies here.
