No worries, I'm going to listen to it again over the weekend. The idea Phil doesn't have the results to be signed is laughable though and if Huff did say it then he's completely wrong.
Phil would fit on either roster, Stars loves its ME champs and I'm sure he'd not look out of place walking down a street in a suit in Tilt's print ads.

Agreed - Phil would obviously be a huge asset for anyone, it's just whether they would give him the prominence that he desires (and quite frankly deserves, not necessarily for his skills as his success in promoting himself and poker).

He wont get the prominance he desires at FT or PS.

I wonder if Phil will hold off until online poker is regulated as I think Jess suggested. Then he can be the figurehead of either a new site or one that was closed off to American players and thus more likely to be sanctioned than FT or PS.

The real reason Hellmuth left: his contract was stored on the same UB server as the hand histories. Ooooooops!

Maybe I'm alone but i think Phil would be a good fit for PS. Tilt is no chance as he'd be just another pro in a sea of big names. But at PS, he's at least got equal billing with Daniel and he's getting his 'brand' out to the biggest pool of players. I thought the best point made in the show was the tie-in with the affiliated poker shows. He's a good buy for The Big Game and WSOP if only for that aspect as he has wide appeal to the non-poker playing public.
