'Tis why I don't read much into those rankings.
But everything else on here makes perfect sense. Relatively speaking, Seidel is a one-trick pony. He just happens to be one of the very best at that one trick. (That he did a cameo in
The Micros ups his stock in my book, too.)
When Ivey won his seventh bracelet, there was some talk about the when (not if) he would surpass Hellmuth. I think it was Adam Schwartz on the Pokercast who predicted Ivey would get to #13 before Hellmuth. But I'd like to see Seidel beat him there as well.
