Wow. I listened to the two plus two podcast as a replacement for the now defunct Poker Beat. Show was alright but one of the hosts says "uh" between almost every word that comes out of his mouth. Tilted the **** out of me. Made me appreciate how awesome this show was.

Thanks to everyone involved in making the Poker Beat happen over the last two years. I have always been a huge fan of Huff's work and BJ, Jess, and Gary were great as well. Sorry to see such a great show come to and end. Best wishes to everyone in their new endeavors.

Edit: oh, and there is also the Final Table, hosted by Paul Harris and Dennis Phillips. Probably geared for more casual fans than diehard, but Paul does a good job. He generally starts a thread on these forums when a new show is available (mostly because it's one of the few forums that will allow such things).

they have had some great interviews on this show actually. david willaims, jungleman, vanessa selbts, vanessa rousso. its a very good podcast, but it is so pokerstars driven. which is the only downside. but quality none the less.

and yah i dont think ill ever tire of hearing Mr. Mark Gahagan on the rabbit hunt! and Matt. they are awesome people. the episode with jeremiah was epicly awesome

The 2+2 PokerCast was probably my second-favorite poker podcast behind The Poker Beat. I guess it now takes over the No. 1 slot until something else comes along.

That said, I agree on MJ's "uhs." He also has a three-steps-forward-two-steps back style of speaking. This took me a while to get used to it, so I can't possibly fault someone for not getting past it. If MJ, uh, said, uh, said "uh" as often, uh, as often as he, uh, used to, then, uh, I'd have a hard time, uh, a hard time listening. But he's, uh, he's greatly improved, uh, on this, uh, this part of his hosting, uh, from the days, uh, when the, uh, when the Pokercast was, uh, Rounders - The Poker Show.

If the panel decides to start a new TPB like show, whatever you do don't take sponsorship from a major site. It ruins your credibility and I think you are aware of this already. I stopped listening to 2+2 Pokercast because they went overboard with the shilling for Pokerstars and they also aren't close to as knowledgeable as the people on TPB (especially not after Jess was added to cover online). Now I only tune in to Pokercast to ffwd to their interviews which sometimes are interesting.
