Very suprised to here them on the intro! Didn't think they would be big in the states given their electro style!

Listening to animal collective - summer clothes now, similar vein to MGMT, try the knife - heartbeats or any newer cut copy stuff. And don't forget dizzie rascal - dance wiv me!

i'm far from an exclusively electro listener but since MGMT seem to have caught at least scott's attention in the states i thought i'd share some similar stuff from the past little while over here

I was also pretty stoked to hear MGMT on the intro! Love Oracular Spectacular, listened to it over and over during a deep run I had at the WPC and it definitely kept me groovin!!..Keep up the good **** Huff

I have never heard of MGMT. I'm still pushing for a theme song from the Go-Gos.

MGMT gets a lot of air play out here. Also, one of the members of MGMT used to be (still is?) in a band called The Whigs, which my friend Brian's brother manages. That's how I first heard about them.

But yeah, they're blowing up with the hipsters in these parts.

(Brag). I remember seeing MGMT (at this point they were called the management) open for of montreal three years ago. They were nearly booed of the stage. It was just the two of them singing karaoke style over beats wearing wife beaters and aviators. They were running there own merch table and when I bought a tshirt they seemed pretty shocked. It's my fav band shirt now. and MGMT do kick ass.

side note. OP holy indie name drop bat man. Animal Collective have little to do with MGMT.
