It doesn't help when a casino tries to run a 10k event at the exact same time as a WPT event.
The first Wynn Classic in 2007 was 198 entrants, in 2008 it was 183 entrants.

A WPT Event that is said to be amongst everyone's favorite , no less...... there is a reason why new shows don't try to run their first episodes during the Super Bowl.

The Wolfman actually did color commentary on the first ever "team poker" tournament in the US, the ill-fated "PokerBowl". The problem was that the show never made it to TV.

Dream Team Poker doesn't allow players on the same team to be at the same table until the final 2 tables, like the Wolfman mentions.
