Talking - POKER2NITE - second episode -

The second episode of poker2nite was really strong. Their is still room for improvement, i.e. hand movements, but they really closed the gap. Any audience member that is familiar with Stapes can tell he's behind the jokes, and that's a good thing. Huff seemed more professional and witty in #2. Good job goofballs. - peace - wolf -

Pet Peeve #1: Making a joke and then explaining it in case the audience is too stupid to get it. Just move on. It is okay if some people do not realise 'Bellande' is not pronounced 'Bland'.

Hand guestures and suits still look uncomfortable, but I do like that they hung a lampshade on it this week.

I would also like to see an interview with Ivey and also Greenstein. The whole father-son thing doesn't get old for me, although of course it might for Seebs.

"It's from The Shining, which I'm pretty sure took place at Foxwoods."

Gold.

Part 3: Very cool to see Ali again. Also, I still would like Stapes to do the Weekly Misdeal. He has a bit of Dennis Miller in both his comedic writing and his delivery. Workman is beautiful and funny, but she doesn't quite match up with the material.

This.

He's better than the chick. However, they do need a Costello role...Lou, not Elvis.

Wait a second......no, they don't.

Put Stapes in place of skinny for the skinny.

Agreed. She doesn't deliver those jokes very well at all.

+1. She needs to work on delivery...a lot. Or perhaps the jokes need to be written more to her delivery, you choose
