Enjoyed the episode. Disagree with Court's assertion that there is nothing new to talk about in the online saga; if he or they don't feel like talking about it that's fine, but FT being shut down world wide and the pending legislation are both new developments since the fallout episode.

That struck me as well, although I soon took it to mean there was nothing new to talk about as everyone listening to this show has already had their fill of post-Black Friday discussion from other venues. i.e. it was a "nothing more to talk about" rather than a "nothing new to talk about" in re that issue.

I agree that that was what it was meant, but it's not always true. In my case, PRR and Poker Edge are the only poker podcasts I listen to regularly (along with an occasional Final Table) and I would have loved to hear their takes, specifically, about the pending legislation. That said, I wouldn't want to force it on anyone.

You guys are right. There is plenty to talk about. My very poorly articulated point was that out of the three of us none are up to date or well informed on any of the happenings over the last few weeks and any discussion would be outdated, misinformed speculation which I wanted to avoid. Between the three of us there was a lack of motivation and time to put in the necessary effort to research and study the topics well enough to talk intelligently about them and I am at a point where I am more inclined to sit back and see how things shake out instead of trying to stay on top of every rumor that comes down the line. With other people out there staying on top of the story and putting out plenty of content anything we would have done would have been subpar in comparison.
Thanks for listening, always open to feedback and criticisms. Hope you guys were able to get something out of the show we did.

Thanks for taking time to respond while you're in the middle of a ME, Court. As I said, you guys had every right to talk about what you were comfortable talking about, and now I get the fact that you felt you wanted more research before discussing the topic. Now, don't you have a tournament to win? Gogogo!

I loaded up all the PRR WSOP episodes from previous years and rolled through them randomly.
It was great, listening to the different prop bets proposed, taken, won, lost, and chickened out on (looking at you, Ali Nejad, of the Taco Bell proposition!).
Happily, one of the last ones I heard was Ole G Smith winning his first bracelet.

Still hoping online poker comes back and the ad $$ can start pouring in to sites like this!
Until then, this might have been posted somewhere else on the forum ... but Joe Stapleton will be doing WCOOP TV on Sept. 13, 20, 27 .... and there is a radio show, but didn't see any hosts listed for that. Might be something to check out for everyone that is missing PRR.
