I had a really bad time this summer/autumn and one of the only things I looked forward too was the shows on this site.

Shronk's drops and all the obvious energy he put into the shows was a huge part of why we loved them so much.

Condolences to his family, friends and all of PR, know that his life was appreciated by all the fans of these shows.

RIP ShronkDaddy.

Another person taken from the world to soon, was definitely one of the people that added greatly to this site to make it what it is, and a reason we all come here. RIP Shronk

I say everyone go have a "Danny Tanner" (see Harnish's intern interview link) but I don't know if the ingredients were ever mentioned publically. One can only assume it's some variation on a black and tan.

I'll check out the interview later, but I vividly remember him saying "it's something sick" and I think grenadine is in it.

Hey seebs/amanda/anyone, I saw that this guy: http://twitter.com/ScheckTwit wanted Shronk memories etc. (i'm assuming both from friends and fans) for Shronk's mom, but didn't have any contact. Know how?

I was never fortunate enough to meet him, but in a way I feel like I did through his obvious voice in the show. Over the years I have become heavily invested in PokerRoad, PokerWire, The Circuit, or whatever it may be and it hurts to lose a member of this wonderful family. If I remember correctly, he got his job as an intern by interviewing on the show many years ago, and was a clear standout.

This feels terrible. I feel so close to all of you at Poker Road. It feels like a loss in my family. I always appreciated Shronk's answers to e-mails, his radio show drops, and his occasional comments.
Please let his immediate family know how he was apart of our lives.

I just got off work and read Joe's blog. I am in shock! What a shame. I so enjoyed him on air and in the forums. I can only imagine what a hard time this is for PokerRoad and its fans. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to all who knew him personally and to his family. May his memory be eternal. Shronk, thank you for the joy you brought to us PokerRoad fans. You will sorely be missed.
