I just talked to him the other day over AIM and had no idea he was sick, I knew he was in the hospital but as far as I knew he had been released, I was kinda wondering why he hadn't been online in awhile.

Very Very Sad, he will be missed.

Oh man, this is so tragic. Working with him everyday this past summer was truly one of the greatest learning experiences of my life. He taught me so much about the industry, the media, and even just Vegas/American culture. He had a good soul. My heart goes out to all that knew him in any capacity and esspecially to his family.

I was sick to my stomach when I found out yesterday, literally stunned. And it hasn't even fully sunk in yet. I can't picture the poker world without Shronk in it -- it just doesn't make sense.

Since I never got the chance to meet him, I want to thank Justin Shronk for his contributions to the show and these forums.
