Piece young brother. It is clear from this thread and many others how much good will you inspired in your short life by being a regular guy, a good guy, who many of us will miss as a small piece of our lives that we enjoyed very much.

It was getting near 7:00 PM the night of last year's WSOP Razz tournament. I was still in the no-limit tournament from the day before and I wasn't sure if I should enter the Razz event two hours late. What did I do? I "Got Shronk." I gave him the money and he bought me in. I missed the next two hours of the Razz event except for playing a few hands on my break.

When I got knocked out of the no-limit event, I rushed over to my seat in the Razz. I went all in on the first hand and drew out on the river. At the end of the night, I went on a rush and somehow got the chiplead, and the next day I went on to win the bracelet.

I am relating this story so that people will remember that "Got Shronk" means getting Shronk's positive energy on your side. This term should conjure up good feelings and good results for evermore.

Shronk was shocked that I didn't get him to buy me into the main event. What was I thinking?

Barry

God...Dammit!!!!

So FRUSTRATING!

R. I. P Shronk.
He inspired me to get my **** together.
He was so good at what he did. I sometimes laughed at the cleverness of where he dropped his drops than i did at the guys talking.
Peace, Shronk.

I go to this website from time to time for some quick laughs:

I believe #19 was Shronk's favorite.

It's been days but I still can't believe it. Too young, too talented, too dynamic to leave us. And yet it happened.

Rest in peace, Shronk. We'll all miss you.

i met shronk personally exactly one time through other PR people who are friends. it was a brief moment, meaning i think i probably got to know him best by hearing about him from those same friends, and from reading the forums here.

on monday i was in the middle of a legal proceeding for work when i checked my phone during a brief break. something posted on facebook caught my attention, leading me to look more closely. like most people i was shocked and saddened, immediately thinking of his age and the people i knew who were close to him.

with a few days' perspective and having heard the many great things said for and about him by his coworkers, colleagues, compatriots, and pals, this occurs to me: i hope he got to tell somebody he loved them, i hope he meant it, and i hope he heard the same thing back. when this happens at such a young age, that'd be enough for me.

I, like alot of other people are avid listeners of the show, frequent website visitors but seldom post on the forums. I feel the need to post something now. I never met Shronk, but feel that I have a connection with him and the lump in my throat is huge right now. I wish I could put into words how I feel. RIP Shronk

Is modern medicine still this far behind that someone can be in hospital and die a few days later? It's so sick that this can happen to someone so young.

R.I.P. Shronk, You and your drops will live on through my (and countless others) iPods and hearts.
