Goodbye My Friend
Shronk showed up as our intern when we were doing the Circuit for cardplayer, we and in particular I, were hard on him, and boy did he man up and do a fantastic job, from that point on Shronk was a respected member of the media. When Joe and barry started Pokerroad Shronk was a guy they knew they had to have.
I have never posted before and don't really intend to start now, Shronk used to try so hard to get me to post, well the lengths he will go to get something done!
I am not exactly like BJ, I don't know if there is something after, but I certainly hope there is because there are some people I really want to see again and Justin Shronk is one of them.
Shronkdaddy was a huge part of pokerroad radio, and it will be impossible to ever really replace him!
Shronk, you were an awesome intern, you were great as the video dude, you were a fantastic media director, but most importantly you were my good friend!
I'll miss you
See you soon
Gavin

A lot of post's, a ton of well deserved tributes to someone who left us way too early.
This one though Has made ShronkDaddy ring the bell. Just as in the movie with Jimmy Stewart, "It's a Wonderful Life"
I salute you G Smith!

Nicely said Gavin.
I'm so sorry to Shronks family, friends and all the PokerRoad crew at this hard time. It's incredible to see how much this has touched so many people who never met Shronk or only knew him through PRR and these forums (myself included). Just shows the mark of the man.
RIP Justin Shronk

Sigh....it's almost impossible to focus on work in the office today.
Gavin...your words resonate almost more than the others because of the "genuineness" behind them. I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Wow. Of all the posts, Gavin's has brought the knot to my throat. For all of us who religiously listen to the show, the fact that Mr. Smith has posted something displays the kind of affect Justin Shronk had.
I didn't know the man, however, the people who speak about him, obviously, are a testament to him. Perhaps because he was the same age as myself I feel impacted by this, or perhaps it's his body of work... I truly believe it's the fact the people in his life were obviously impacted by him.
Thanks for the kind words Gavin, it's quite touching.
Thanks Mr. Shronk for all the great memories, you will be missed.
P.S. If anybody is feeling really down, listen to the episode were Shronk uses the computerized voice. May be the funniest moment ever on the show.

Gavin, I think it's fitting that this is your only post. And I would suggest that you make it your only post permanently. As much as the PR fam would love to hear more from you, you probably couldn't say anything more genuine, heartfelt and compassionate.
