When I say prr has reached a nadir i mean beside the fact that the interviews were cut short. For example, why was Race Situations pushed to the interview segment to begin with. Didn't it used to be the third segment? Then, if Jeremy Pollack shows up late, they can vamp and talk about life on the road, or how to negotiate a 6000 player donkament or whatever.
Plus, it is in part the new format which causes the situation to begin with. Why can't they tape an interview the night before, then drop it into this segment. It's too much to ask a poker pro, during the biggest tournaments of the year, to get up and get over to the Rio by 11:30 AM. It's just not realistic for the most part.
There doesn't seem to be any structure to the show anymore. No Hand of the Day, no Poker News, sparse games that seem to be added on on the fly when a guest is late.
I still enjoy the guys' banter and consider them more like friends than people who host a radio show I listen to, but it's undeniable that prr has seen better days.
