Ah, very nice. I always like it when our Northern California boy appears on this show. I once saw a football game at Butte College, so it makes me wonder if I watched him play.
I suppose the most obvious question would be if he was one of the many who took part in Ivey's bracelet bets.
Here are more, in case he doesn't want to speak about that.
1. Being very much a poker pro for the TV era (All-American image and classy demeanor) and being someone who had his biggest scores in the mixed event and HORSE last year, do you lament the choice by ESPN to broadcast only no-limit tournaments this year?
Note: Of course, everyone acknowledges that NLHE is simply more TV-friendly, but as the poker audience becomes more educated in the game, and as PLO and HORSE become more popular with even casual players, I'm wondering if he believes that model needs to be revisited or even reconstructed.
2. Does the 10K offer still stand for Seebs and Gavin to take that 2 a.m. tandem ride from Commerce to the Bike? If not, would you consider sending those two on a similar bike ride from, say, the Rio to Lake Mead on one of the WSOP hottest days? (Consider it payback for that golf prop bet from two summers ago.)
3. You cut your teeth at the Casino San Pablo (now known as the San Pablo Lytton Casino), where you met the man who would later host PokerRoad Radio. If I were to take the one-hour drive from Davis to that cardroom and drop the name Ali Nejad, which would be the most likely response?
a) "Decent player, beat the mid-stakes games fairly well."
b) "Ali Nejad? Bitch owes me five bucks."
c) "Total fish. Bring him back... I've got a 12-year-old who needs braces."
d) "Great player and a great man. It's a damn shame he does mostly announcing now because his true genius takes place on the felt. He is a credit to the game of poker."
e) "Who the hell is Ali Nejad?"

Does he plan on doing anymore performance based prop bets anytime soon (i.e like the golf prop bet from a couple of years ago)?

Questions for Erick:
-Where's Bill Edler?
-Which of the various forms of WSOP tournaments this year do you feel you have the biggest edge in? Heads-up, 6-max, or Full ring? Omaha, NLHE, Stud, Mixed, etc?
-Do you back EugeneToddBro?
-Did you have anything specifically to say during or immediately afterwards to Daniel considering you suffered the same fate against Madsen in 2006?
