Default 2/5 PLO Live

This is a live 2/5 PLO game at the local card room.

Hand 1

Hero: $325
Villain: $1300

UTG (aggro raising every pot) raises $15 4 callers I call on button Q899 blinds call

Flop ($105) 986r checks around

Turn ($105) J checks to HJ who bets $60 I call folds around

River ($225) 10 Villain checks we bet $110 he tanks calls we win.

Hand 2

Hero: $570
Villain 1: $800
Villain 2: $700

4 limpers in BB with A10K6 check option

Flop ($30) J42 UTG bets $25 V2 calls I call

Turn ($105) Turn 8 V1 bets $55 V2 calls I call

River ($270) River Q V1 bets $90 V2 folds I call

V1 shows QJxx we win

Is this too passive?

Hand 3

Hero: $800
Villain: $400 Same villain from hand 2

In SB with QQ106 7 limpers I complete

Flop ($40) AKJ (we have none of these suits) before I have chance to act Villain leads out $35 noone notices, even the dealer missed. folds around to me. I call

Turn ($110) turn 5 check call $55

River ($220) 6 I donk $155 he calls we scoop

Is this the type of thing you want to do with the nuts with zero redraws. I was looking at it as pot control so I didn't get it all in with no redraws and possibly get free rolled.

Hand 1 I would fold pre 'cas that hand gets you into awfuls spots, but I would bet the flop checked round. Turn and river look ok.

Hand 2 I would often raise pre simply to build a bigger pot for when we hit. Not a big raise, just $15-$20. You make it sound like you just flatted, but from BB you check/ called which feels like you lose value a lot. Not sure exactly where I put extra in as I don't know villains, but you probably should have put more into this pot. That said, to get two bets from two pair once the flush card comes in is kinda nice.

Hand 3 I like preflop and flop. However, checking the turn is REALLY risky because it checking through SUCKS! I would probably lead here for 2/3-3/4 pot. The river donk is read-dependent, but as your big bet got called, I think we can safely say it was a good option vs. this villain.

hand 1 is a very easy vbet otf imo. Cant see much a reason why to not lead with the current nuts basically and backdoor draws. card removal does suck some here bc noone basically ever has a 9 and reduced chances of an 8, but i think you will get called by plenty of hands

i really dont dislike hand 2 very much all, bc as 5carab said idk where your getting more value from. I mean live im not too thrilled about the prospect of blowing a pot up OOP either. I think its def "fine" to play the hand like this.

hand 3 i dont mind checking again too much, leading def has merit to charge his draws, but c/cing then donking a blank turn is odd to me. I mean you def may be able to get a bad live aggressive player to do something dumb over the top then it works extremely well, but i think its depends a lot on the villain. same with the river.

Hand 3 is c/pot on turn with that much money out there. Tons of nasty rivers for you.

Hand 1, bet flop, rest seems ok. Hand 2 is probably ok. Hand 3 check/raise turn.
