Default PokerRoad Rakeback

The PokerRoad rakeback site is now live. There are a list of sites you can choose from to sign up with and get rakeback. Details and a list of sites are available at http://rakeback.pokerroad.com/

There will be all sorts of cool stuff like race races, rake chases and freerolls and signing up through PokerRoad's rakeback site helps support the site and all the content available here.

There is 24/7 support to help you if you have any issues with your rakeback from the minute you start the signup process through the life of your account. And if for any reason you have an issue with support you can always contact me and I will make sure your issue gets handled fairly and competently.

If any of you have any questions about what rakeback is, how it works, why you would want it or anything else feel free to post here or send me a PM and I will be glad to answer.

Your PokerRoad rakeback account will be separate from your PokerRoad forums account so you will have to sign up through the PokerRoad Rakeback site to create your account there. Feel free to use the same username you use here on PokerRoad though

-Court

1rd!!

I was looking over the sites and noticed that there are two different Rakeback methods. I think I know, but just to make sure could you explain the difference between "dealt" and "contributed" please. Thanks.

Here is a description as good as anything I could type up:

"There are two types of rakeback, dealt and contributed. With dealt rakeback you get credit for a portion of the rake for every hand you are dealt, regardless of if you are involved in the pot at all. With the contributed method you receive a proportional credit based on the percentage of the pot that you contributed. For example if there is a $100 pot that is raked the typical maximum of $3 and there are 10 people dealt into the hand, you would receive $.30 ($3/10) towards your Monthly Gross Revenue (MGR) if you are receiving dealt rakeback. If you were getting contributed rakeback and had folded pre-flop in that hand you would get $0.00 towards your MGR since you contributed 0% of the total pot. If you were heads up with one person in the pot after the flop you would receive roughly $1.50 ($3 x 50%) towards your MGR since you contributed roughly 50% of the pot. Dealt rakeback is better for tight players whereas contributed rakeback rewards looser and aggressive players who are often involved in large pots."

Not to burn my buddies at RakeFreeze but...any switchover deals with the main rooms? I know these are near impossible, but hey, who wants to give up a FABULOUS name like RuntCake on the majors?

For those that are unaware or uneasy about rakeback, I made over $1,900 in rakeback this year. I would consider myself a mid-stakes player that plays 20-25 hours of MTT's and NL cash a week. Just wanted to let you know as a reference point....

+1, I didn't make anywhere close to $1,900 (b/c I don't play near as much) but rakeback is free money that you can get back that you otherwise have paid to FT or whichever site.

I get my rakeback on FT from rakebackpros. I wish I could switch to PokerRoad to support PR but I don't know if that's kosher.

Definitely looking into getting money to a site where I can play with rakeback. My FT and UB accounts are apparently too old and Stars is Stars. Thanks again for checking Court.

I heard Doyle's room has had very slow cash outs.. anyone have any different experiences recently? Anyone play cake or carbon? Replies appreciated
