Players Only

I set up a Players Only account because of the promo you guys ran a while back and ran up a bit of money there but haven't played lately mostly because I haven't got around to asking if you can get me set up for rakeback.

Can you? If so, should we do it before or after they switch from Cake to Merge? If before does that mess-up later getting rakeback on another Cake site like Doyle's Room where I don't have an account yet?

Thoughts?

I think my login there is evilroy but screenname at the tables is evilroyca although I never understood why they are different.

Having other accounts on the Cake network shouldn't keep you from getting rakeback on a different one, though I am pretty sure you can only have 1 account on the network with rakeback.

I'll look into getting your current account setup with rakeback and let you know.

What I meant was if you think setting rakeback up before the switch to Merge network (which I think is going to happen mid-April) makes it more difficult to later get a Doyle's Room rakeback deal maybe waiting is better.

The most important thing is getting rakeback on a go forward basis where I have the money on deposit (Players Only) and having it still be in effect after the switch.

Hey Roy,

I can check and see if your Players Only account is linked with Poker Road, or if it can be linked so that you can receive rakeback. If you are approved for rakeback going forward, once the switch to Merge is made you would then be allowed to create a new account with rakeback on the Cake Network. Poker Road currently offers rakeback on Cake Poker, DoylesRoom, and PowerPoker, so you would be able to create a new account on one of these rooms once Players Only moves to Merge.

You may want to check out the different promotions that we offer on each to determine which one will give you the most value. They all offer 33% rakeback, but the amount of rake you do on a monthly basis could earn you different prizes in each of the three sites promotions.


Cake Poker $60K Rake Race Leaderboard

DoylesRoom $35K Rake Race Leaderboard

Power Poker $20K Rake Chase Leaderboard

Cake Poker and DoylesRoom have the much larger payouts at the top, but you would need to rake a lot more for a smaller payout. For example, you may need to rake $1,000 in a month to earn a $50 payment in our Cake Poker Rake Race, while raking $500 in a month on Power Poker would earn you a $75 payment in our Rake Chase.

Either way, send me a PM with your Players Only account number and I will contact them ASAP to figure out if we can get you rakeback. If you are approved, your rakeback would carry over when they go to the new network, and you would be allowed to create a new rakeback account on a different Cake Poker skin.
