Default fish questions about rakeback

as someone who doesnt play much, (about 2500-3k hands a week) (usually play 2-3 tables of micro plo 6/9 table .01/.02, and a few .25/$1 nlhe sng's), should i pull my small br from pokerstars and head to full tilt or doyle's? am at about half of my bankroll (micro nlho makes my forehead bleed) if i ever get the online game figured out i plan to get up to about 4-5 tables. i would like to sign up for the pokerroad rakeback if it would help the site, just wondering if this is one of them "wait till your a lil older youngster" situations and rakeback is more for the peeps who play the higher stakes.

thank you, good hunting

Playing at the site you enjoy most is far more important than rakeback at the stage of building a BR you are at. You will make maybe $2 a week (v rough guess) from rakeback so i would say stay where you are until you build up enough for $0.10/0.25, then it might be worth a switch. GL

According to my thread just below this one, even tho you don't get rakeback from Stars, their VIP program will give you more than any rakeback. So you might as well stick around.
If you decide on moving and getting rakeback from somewhere, be sure to figure out how to get it, BEFORE you even register at the site.

Getting Supernova status on Stars is no mean feat and thats what you need to get more than FT's 27% Rakeback. At the micro's there is no hope of you getting close to Supernova so FT is the best option but as i said the difference is negligible.

Signing up and playing on a poker room with rakeback is NEVER a bad idea. Full Tilt rivals Stars in its number of tournaments, SNGs, and the variety of cash games that are available, so if you can make a dollar or two per week in rakeback that equates to a full buy-in at the $.01/$.02 tables which can be very significant to bankroll growth.

One thing to keep in mind is that when you are registering on a new poker room, you need to be sure to clear all of your browsers cookies and register and create your account directly through us:Full Tilt Poker Rakeback

Also, when it comes to PokerStars you will not be able to earn close to the amount of rakeback/valueback that you could on Full Tilt or DoylesRoom unless you hit the Supernova level, which takes some serious grinding at high stakes.
